The investment process consists of a monthly cycle which culminates in the generation of a series of investment models that act as guidelines for the investment managers. Equities and collectives are drawn from a universe of approximately 370 UK, US, European and Irish equities and approximately 200 collective investments. As a long-established UK firm with a substantial client base, UK investment remains the major focus. Key accountabilities: 1. Develop a good understanding of collectives and how the firm formulates its recommendations. 2. Generate effective, timely investment recommendations. 3. Accurately communicate information and recommendations to Investment Managers. 4. Assist in the maintenance of the research team database, the collectives library, weekly investment list, team spreadsheets and other internal systems and publications. 5. Assist in the administration of the firms investment process ensuring sources of information are kept up-to-date as required and providing charts and information to Investment Managers. 6. Update electronic systems. 7. Carry out team and office visits. Qualifications and Experience: - Candidate to be educated to degree level (unless suitably experienced).
- Candidate may be qualified or part qualified in either the SI Diploma or CFA.
- Candidate will have worked in financial markets, preferably with some fund/manager selection experience.
- Exposure to Investment Trusts would be preferential.
